Q. When is the best time to do the maternity photoshoot & why?

The best time for a maternity photo session is typically between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. Here are a few reasons why:

• Baby bump size: At this stage of pregnancy, the belly is usually big enough to show off the baby bump prominently, but not too big that it's uncomfortable for the mom-to-be to move around and pose for the photos.

• Comfort: As the pregnancy progresses, the mom-to-be may experience more physical discomfort, such as back pain or swelling in the feet and ankles. By scheduling the photo session before the final weeks of pregnancy, it's more likely that the mom-to-be will feel comfortable and relaxed during the shoot.

• Timing: Scheduling the photo session for around 28-34 weeks also ensures that the mom-to-be is not at risk of going into labor during the session, while still allowing enough time for rescheduling in case of any unexpected changes.

• Health: During the second trimester, many women experience a "pregnancy glow" and feel their best physically and emotionally. This can make for beautiful and radiant photos.

• Versatility: By scheduling the session during the 28-34 week window, there is still enough time to experiment with different locations, outfits, and poses, without having to worry about the unpredictability of the final weeks of pregnancy.

  preferences you may have, and work together to create a session that is tailored to your needs.
  It is very important to take care of the expecting mom and make sure that she is happy and relaxed. This is not just a photoshoot, it is an experience which we ensure to provide to our each and every clients.

Q. How to book / confirm my maternity photoshoot booking?

First, we discuss mutually with the clients about the various packages on offer, requirements, expected photoshoot date and available slots by phone call/email/WhatsApp conversation. Then, we will share the contract agreement form as per the agreed package/quotation, which the client need to go through and fill the contract form and pay the booking amount, thereafter, we book your slot and mark the calendar and then confirm you about the booking.

Q. What is the payment structure?

We take the payments in 3 parts, first 40% as advanced to confirm the booking, second 40% on the day of the photoshoot and remaining 20% before handing over the final deliverables i.e. Edited Images/Album/Prints.

Q. Are the props pictures included in all the packages?

No, props are included from our “Standard” package onwards. If your selected package doesn’t include any props, you have the option to include it as an add-on.

Q. What is the duration of a maternity photoshoot?

As we do understand that you are at the crest of your maternity, we take not more than 2 to 4 hours to shoot your maternity, depending on the package you select. On adding a professional make-up artist, please allow an extra hour more to us. We keep you as comfortable during the session as possible.

Q. In outdoor locations, are there any dress changing facilities available?

Yes, we have our own portable dress changing unit (tent type) which you can use to change dresses. This facility comes very convenient to all our expecting moms.

Q. Are there any hair-style or makeup services offered by you at the shoot?

Yes, you can add a pre-shoot makeup and the hairstyle with an additional cost of ₹ 5000 - ₹ 6000 for total (if not included in the package). The make-up artist will stay with us throughout the duration of the session.

 

Q. If we want to take extra gowns besides our packages, what will be the process to get them?

Yes, you can select additional gowns by paying extra ₹ 1500 for each standard gown or ₹ 3000 for per premium gown.

 

Q. Will I get to choose my Gown?

Yes, once your booking in confirmed, we will share the link with our Standard, Premium Gowns & Toss Fabrics Collection. From there you can select as per your choice.

 

Q. What is the difference between Basic Props, Standard Props and Premium Props?

• Basic Props includes as follows: “Mom to Be” Sash, Several Maternity Moments related Placards, Basic Tiara, Baby Shoes, Baby Romper, Plastic Slates, Teddy Bears Soft Toys, Gift Bow, Normal Balloons (It’s a Boy / Girl) etc.

• Standard Props includes the following: Metal / Stone Setting Crowns, Floral Tiara, Japanese Style Umbrellas, Artificial Flowers, Flower Baskets, Alphabets L_VE and M_M, Wooden Slates, Blank Frame to hold USG Print/Plate, Cages, Maternity Metallic Belt for Mom to be, Suspender and Bow for Dad to be, Foil Balloons like “It’s a Boy / Girl” etc.

• Premium Props includes the following: Peacock Chair, Premium High Chair, Metal Floral Frame, Bohemian Themed Setups etc

Q. If we want to take extra gowns besides our packages, what will be the process to get them?

Yes, you can select additional gowns by paying extra ₹1,500 for each standard gowns / toss fabrics or ₹2,000 -₹3,500 for premium gowns,

 

Q. Are studio charges included in the indoor maternity packages?

If you can come to our home studio then there will be no additional charge. If you choose to have the photo session at your place then studio portability charge will be included as an add-on along with your select package.

 

Q. What are the facilities available at your studio?

This is a Home based studio, which will give you access to a lounge/entertainment area, a specious air conditioned bedroom to relax yourself, a modern washroom and off course the Studio room. Our Studio has all the required equipment from backdrop to studio lights, props, accessories, dresses etc. Our place also has Car Parking facility.

Q. Do you provide your service outside Kolkata?

Yes, but additional charges are to be borne by the clients for every location.

 

Q. Do you provide all captured photos throughout the session?

Yes, we generally share all the captured photos with our watermark on them. This is to ensure that those are not the final image/output, they are for selection and proofing only,  not meant to used or shared for any other purposes.

 

Q. After the photoshoot, when will I get all my pictures?

After the maternity shoot, clients need to pay the 2nd instalment amount (40%) and then we’ll share the initial photos via our Private Online Album. Then you’ll have to share the shortlisted images with us, after which we take 3 weeks for retouching/editing those pictures, then we share with you via the same private album with a new gallery.

 

Q. What do you mean by professionally edited images?

Professionally edited images means edited pictures which includes skin retouching, colour correction, light correction & background correction etc.

 

Q. What is the difference between Canvera Softcover Moment Book and Regular Hardcover Photobook?

Softcover Moment book is a soft covered Slim Book with photo prints come with light weight, easy-to-carry book that let you enjoy the memories in real with a pocket friendly price.

Photobook is a Hard Covered Coffee Table Book to tell your dreamy photo story. It turns your maternity photos into quality indigo prints and collate them into a lasting Photobook with Canvera.

Q. Do you provide photobook album or prints?

Yes, few of our packages already have prints or photobook included. Otherwise there is an option to choose prints or Photobook as an add-on to your package. We are a partner of Canvera, which is India’s largest and premium photo printing company. We only provide prints/photobooks from Canvera.

 

Q. How do we get our albums and related products?

We generally drive down to deliver any prints/albums within Kolkata and surroundings. However, if you stay far from our place then we’ll deliver it through the courier service. The charges of the courier are to be borne by client only.
